ABOUT STEVE SCHLOSS
Steve is an accomplished business leader and two-time Chief People Officer with a proven track record of partnering with boards, CEOs, and executive teams. Known for his intentional, pragmatic, and values-driven approach, he is a highly impactful and multi-certified executive and team coach, trusted leadership advisor, facilitator, assessor, and developer of executive-level talent.
Steve helps portfolio founders, C-level leaders, and teams navigate the personal and organizational changes required to lead through rapid growth. He understands the complex ways top leaders and teams both enhance and hinder their own effectiveness. Drawing on his breadth and depth of experience, Steve shares his strategic insights as a speaker, writer, graduate lecturer, and mentor to leaders across the business and HR community.
Over four decades, Steve built, scaled, and transformed global organizations and premier brands across diverse industries, including banking and finance (Citi), digital media, entertainment, and publishing (Time Warner/Time Inc), conversational commerce and AI (LivePerson), and sports (United States Golf Association). He spent twelve years as graduate faculty at The New School for Public Engagement in New York City, where he designed courses at the intersection of strategy, HR, and the digital world.
Steve is also a member of the Marshall Goldsmith 100 Coaches Agency and a Baldrige Executive Fellow. He has served as a pro-bono coach to global leaders across the Ashoka network for social entrepreneurship.
