ABOUT RYAN

Ryan has spent his career in operations in both technology and business services. As Operating Partner, Ryan advises Edison portfolio companies across all lifecycle stages (selling, diligence, first year, ongoing/scale, pre-exit). His specialties are exit readiness and driving go-to-market strategy and excellence.
 
Ryan is also an executive coach, focusing most of his private practice on Founders and first-time CEOs in VC and PE-backed lower middle-market b2b companies. Ryan currently lives in Costa Rica with his wife and 2 daughters.
 
Ryan began his career working in sales and operations for Cintas Corporation (CTAS). He spent 9 years there, where he rose from sales rep to General Manager by the time he was 28. He then went on to help form the company's first Key Account Management organization, focused on selling into the healthcare industry. Ryan joined SBI Growth in 2010 and quickly moved from Sr. Consultant to Managing Director, where he led transformational work with companies such as: Eloqua, Box, Informatica, Samsung, Intuit, Operative, Ellucian and Autodesk. In 2017, Ryan became the CEO of iGrafx, an enterprise software company focused on business process management, where, under his leadership, the company transformed its business model from on-premise to SaaS and generated a 4.3x ROIC in its sale to Banneker Partners in early 2021. Thereafter, Ryan rejoined SBI Growth to lead its private equity practice until 2023 when he began working in private practice and with Edison.
