Edison Partners Exits LogFire

Leading Cloud-based Warehouse Management Systems Provider Acquired by Oracle

PRINCETON, NJ – SEPTEMBER 6, 2016 -- Edison Partners today announced the sale of LogFire, the leading provider of cloud-based warehouse management systems, to Oracle (ORCL).

Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, LogFire has successfully deployed customers in North and South America, South Africa and Asia.  Their configurable, cloud-based warehouse management system leads to faster and less costly implementations helping customers stay up to date with new enhancements on an ongoing basis.  The configurability enables customers to change their business operations quickly to meet the needs for omni-channel fulfillment, and as a result, third party logistics providers have found the on-demand model of cloud deployment to be very advantageous to their business models.

LogFire’s SaaS revenues grew nearly 300% since Edison’s original investment in 2014.  “We are very excited that LogFire has been able to achieve commercial success and industry recognition in the short time since our initial investment in 2014,” said Joe Allegra, Edison General Partner who led the investment and serves on the LogFire board.  “Having Oracle, one of the world’s most successful software companies, acquire LogFire as part of their cloud-based supply chain offerings is a testament to the vision of Diego Pantoja-Navjas, Founder and CEO of LogFire, and the great execution by him and his team.”

“I appreciate the support and strategic guidance that Joe and the Edison team have given to LogFire, helping drive our growth and navigate this exit,” said Diego.  “We are proud of the company we have built together and are excited for the next phase of our journey as part of Oracle.”

Edison Partners has financed and guided over 40 Enterprise 2.0 companies, and is actively investing out of its latest fund, Edison VIII. Noteworthy exits include Archive Systems, Assessment Systems, Axent, InSoft, Marcam, Octagon, Tangoe, VirtualEdge, Notable Solutions, Uptivity, and VFA. Current Enterprise portfolio companies include Billtrust, eSentire, Kemp Technologies, MotionSoft, Neat, Operative, Redvision, and most recent addition All Traffic Solutions.
