Thanks to the LEND360 team, innovative fintech companies and I went down to the Treasury to meet with the Financial Institutions group earlier this month to provide our perspectives in preparation for the upcoming Fintech Industry Report as part of Executive Order 13772, directing the Secretary of the Treasury to review current financial regulations that are limiting economic growth.  

We had a great discussion around several topics including central verification database and fintech sandbox concept, national fintech charter, areas where regulatory reforms are needed, various governing bodies, and the investor/board perspective on regulatory frameworks among others.  Having open dialogues like this is crucial for all of us in the industry to foster collaborative innovation, beneficial investments, and positive growth across the board.
